Knox County Library Media Specialists foster an environment that enables users to appreciate reading and to access and evaluate information by providing resources and experiences that contribute to life-long learning.

7:35 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
Classes are taught throughout the day. Contact your child's teacher to find out the exact library day and time your child will have.
The Sarah Moore Greene LMC has over 12,000 volumes available for check out. For more information about check out, see the Department Files below. The LMC also has several online subscriptions to help students and staff with research. These are listed below under Department Links. There are seven student computer stations available for use and all book circulation is done by computer as well. The LMC has an ActivBoard that will facilitate library skill lessons and meetings for various school groups as well.

Department Announcements RIF is coming!We will be having our first RIF distribution days in December. For students in Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade, RIF will take place on December 8th. Students who are in Pre-K, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades will have RIF the following day on December 9th. The students will get a free book on those days so mark them on your calendar now so your child doesn't miss out!
